The Institute of Marine Research (IIM) belongs to the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC) and, as stated by our General Secretariat, has policies on the implementation of effective and proportionate anti-fraud measures within its management responsibilities and complies with current regulations on public procurement.
The Institute is also committed to avoiding double funding and document forgery, as well as to providing information to detect possible warning signs, including contract manipulation, collusive bidding practices, conflicts of interest, manipulation of tender bids and split payments.
