Employment and Training
Our laboratory technical staff and staff with degrees in Marine Sciences, Biology, Chemistry and Engineering, as well as Economics, Law and Communications (both employed staff and trainees), contribute to the multidisciplinary character of our center. With more than 200 people working there, IIM-CSIC is a large community of people who collaborate with one another in the name of science, knowledge and sustainability.
Located in one of the main hubs of marine research in Europe, from our center you can collaborate with other institutions dedicated to the sea, expanding your professional relationships through networks such as Campus do Mar or the Spanish National Research Council itself, in a setting surrounded by a city where the ocean takes center stage.
