Biografía

I am a passionate marine biologist with a deep fascination for social behaviour, spatial ecology and the driving forces behind animal habitat use. My research interests primarily focus on understanding how individual marine predators move and interact within their ecosystems, with a recent emphasis on leveraging this knowledge to enhance the conservation and management of aquatic environments. For instance, I have investigated the drivers of the behaviour and spatial ecology of the small spotted catshark and thornback skate around the Cíes Islands, a small marine protected area in the northwest of the Iberian Peninsula.
