Biografía

I`m a geneticist and evolutionary biologist, interested in the adaptive potential to global change in marine species. I did my Ph.D. at the Autonomous University of Barcelona researching molecular evolution theories. Then, I had my first post-doctoral experience at the Institute of Evolutionary Biology in Barcelona, mainly in comparative genomics in primates. After that, I moved to the Balearic Islands and work in marine conservation, which has become my passion. In 2019 I went to Hong Kong to work in transcriptomics and genetics applied to fish conservation at the Hong Kong University and Swire Institute of Marine Science. Currently, I enjoy a Marie Curie postdoctoral fellowship with the project FishAdapt to research the adaptive potential of exploited fish species to climate change at IIM-CSIC in Vigo.
