PTAs 2022 | R&D&I Technical Support Staff Contracts

The Institute of Marine Research (IIM-CSIC ) shares 1 offer to apply for contracts with us for the Research Technical Support Staff, within the Aid for Technical Support Staff Contracts (PTA) 2022  of the Spanish State Research Agency (AEI).

These are three-year contracts for people with a University Degree (Bachelors' or Masters') or a College Certificate in Higher Education (Spanish 'Ciclo Formativo', former-FP), to support the management of equipment, facilities and other R&D&I infrastructures to increase and improve the performace of scientific-technical institutions like ours.

El Servicio de Historia de Vida (LHS) del IIM-CSIC reúne los equipos para analizar parámetros de historia vital en organismos marinos. Está organizado en siete áreas: (1) Histología, (2) Parámetros reproductivos, (3) Esclerocronología, (4) Análisis de imágenes, (5) Generación de imágenes multifocales, (6) Telemetría acústica y (7) Ecología molecular.

El servicio de LHS busca fortalecer su área de Ecología Molecular con la incorporación de un técnico de investigación altamente calificado para realizar análisis genómicos.

El trabajo implicará el uso de técnicas genómicas clásicas de laboratorio (aislamiento de ADN y ARN, electroforesis, PCR, clonación, etc.) y técnicas HTS (RADseq, RNAseq, secuenciación del genoma completo, metagenómica, epigenética).

Requisitos:

• Licenciatura, licenciatura, maestría o técnico del sistema educativo de formación profesional en disciplinas afines a la Biología Molecular, incluyendo CFGS en Laboratorio Clínico y Biomédico o Anatomía Patológica.

Se valorará:

• Buscamos un técnico con experiencia comprobada en técnicas de biología molecular, especialmente en preparación de bibliotecas HTS, con excelente capacidad de trabajo en equipo y organización.
