Although the multidisciplinary nature, plasticity and in-house collaboration among our research staff is better represented by our three Transversal R&I Programmes, our scientific and technical work is formally organized in four Research Departments, within which different Research Groups (CSIC fundamental research units) work in similar research topics for common goals. The Head of Department represents each department in the Institute’s Governing Board.
