The Institute of Marine Research (IIM-CSIC) offers 1 Research Topic to apply with us for post-doctoral contracts within the Financial Aid programme Juan de la Cierva 2022 (JdC 2022) from the Spanish Research Agency (AEI).
This financial aid offers 2-year contracts for recent doctors (PhD between 1st january 2021 and 31st december 2022) to give them a first post-doctoral experience at Spanish R&D centers.

The postdoctoral project will be in the area of fish behaviour and conservation.
The selected candidate will have the possibility to work in your own ideas but also on several funded projects and topics related to fish behaviour in the wild and conservation, including:
- Global patterns of individual behavioural variation.
- Behavioural basis of speciation in the ballan wrasse (Labrus bergylta).
- Individual behaviour and conservation of elasmobranchs.
-Social behaviour of sharks and rays
Requirements:
- PhD defended between January 2021 and December 2022, with some exceptions (see call documents).
-Good programming skills in R language.
