Research Groups
Research groups are the fundamental research & innovation units of the Institute of Marine Research. Our fourteen groups reflect one of the main strengths of the IIM: its multidisciplinary nature, which allows for the ongoing exchange of knowledge among different fields of marine research, from the study of oceanic and coastal systems to biosystems and bioprocesses linked to the food industry and to circularity.
