Ramón y Cajal Fellow

I am a RyC Fellow at the IIM-CSIC. My research focus on marine macrophytes, integrating ecology, plant physiology and spatial modelling. My main research lines include the development of novel lipid-based biomarkers to assess plant stress, the discovery of ecosystem services associated with dissolved organic matter, and the development of spatial models linking ecological niches and functional traits. My interested is in exploring emerging research questions to understand the functioning and resilience of coastal ecosystems.
