Selection Process for the IIM-CSIC Management

Comienza the process of selection of the Address of the Institute of Marine Research of Vigo (IIM-CSIC).

Requirements for presentarse

Can presentarse the staff researcher doctor of reconocido prestigio that posea the idoneidad and the calificación profesional adecuada for the ejercicio of the funciones inherentes to the cargo, pudiendo be staff own perteneciente to the CSIC the staff externo that vincule to the CSIC mediante convenio u otro instrumento that así lo prevea. For hacerlo must regirse by the following process and calendario, and usar the modelos of documentation indicados in this page.

Requirements of the contenido of the application

All the applications must presentar the following documentation. Must seguir the modelos, available for descarga in this page, según indique.

1. Carta of presentación según modelo establecido (I), explicando the motivación for ocupar the address of the institute, destacando aquellas cualidades that considera the make adecuada for the puesto.

2. Curriculum Vitae (CV) completo.

3. Project of Address detallado, siguiendo the modelo establecido (II), the following esquema:

• Analysis of the situación, misión and visión of the Institute (in line, orientativamente, with the apartados recogidos in the Plan Estratégico of CSIC vigente).
• Analysis DAFO and perspectiva the corto and environment deadline.
• Programme scientific, incluyendo retos and resultados esperados, estrategia propuesta and acciones the carry out.
• Programme of management, considerando the situación económico-administrative of the Institute.
• In caso of that trate of a application that vuelva the presentar, añadirá a informe on the resultados obtenidos and the compliance of the objectives that propuso in their anterior application.

Proceso y calendario

• 19/02/2024 - Junta start of the process of selection.
• 23/02/2024 - Publicación of the future vacante in the website of IIM and CSIC. Apertura of the deadline of presentación of applications. Must incluirse toda the documentation recogida bajo the epígrafe of "Requirements of the Contenido of the Application".
• 25/03/2024 - Cierre of the deadline of presentación of applications.
• 01/04/2024 - Junta of revisión and certificación of applications
• 02/04/2024 - Puesta the disposición of the Claustro the applications presentadas.
• 10/04/2024 - Claustro for presentación of applications, debate and aportaciones
• 24/04/2024 - Incorporation of aportaciones and publicación of the projects actualizados.
• Del 15 al 22 de abril de 2024 - Presentación of avales. The avales presentarán the the Secretaría of the Claustro (Dr. Alejandro Garrido Maestu), individualmente and of forma razonada but anonimizada and siguiendo a modelo establecido (III). Will be possible avalar uno the more of the projects presentados by the different applications.
• 24/04/2024 - Informe of the people designadas by the Claustro for contar the avales and resumir the motivos expuestos in the mismos, siguiendo the modelo establecido (IV).
• 25/04/2024 - Reunión of Junta and emisión of informe, siguiendo modelo establecido (V) and después of recoger the opinión of the grupos of research and of the responsables of the departamentos, servicios and gerencia.
