Santiago de Compostela, 2025. CSIC is launching five projects in Galicia under the Momentum programme, an initiative designed to attract and consolidate talent and to strengthen research lines with high scientific and social impact.
The IIM leads one of these projects, directed by Eva Balsa-Canto (IIM) and Patricia González (UDC), with the recruitment of Artai Rodríguez Moimenta. The other projects are led by MBG and INCIPIT and address fields ranging from plant science and biodiversity to heritage research and innovative methodologies.
The programme will allow the participating centres to reinforce their teams, generate new knowledge and increase their capacity to respond to scientific and social challenges from Galicia.
