The Institute of Marine Research will pay tribute to the people who shaped its history on 30 June at 12:00, in an internal event held at the centre.

The event is part of the commemoration of 50 years of IIM in Bouzas and is a tribute dedicated to all the colleagues who have left their mark on the centre’s history over all these years.

During the event, a round table will be held in which several colleagues will share their experiences. Afterwards, we will close the celebration with snacks and lunch on the centre’s terrace.

This is a wonderful opportunity to ask questions, talk and understand where much of what we experience today comes from, both as part of science and as part of IIM, and to gather strength and ideas for the future.

A special day to remember and value together the achievements and contributions of the people who have passed through our corridors, laboratories and offices.
