PROGRAMME | ForoACUI XXV 

Nexts, Thursday, 5 and Friday, 6 of October, in the Auditorium Municipal of the Grove, will be held the XXV Forum of the Marine resources and Aquaculture of the Rias Galegas.

This Forum é the meeting anual that naceu in 1998 cThe aim of ser the espazo of referencia for comunicar the realidade and the perspectivas of future of the fishing, the shellfishing and the aquaculture in Galicia. The principais objectives son, the training, the outreach and mainly, the interacción between the research staff, the sector empresarial and the Administración.

THE first Event Day abrirase cunha opening lecture of the man of Albert Tacon (visitante University of Sãthe Paulo- Brazil) and with two mesas of work repartidas the longo of the maña the of the Institute of Aquaculture of the USC, and outra on the Shellfishing and Fishing of Baixura.

THE second Event Day centrarase in the tema of the aquaculture of the future onde falarán representantes sociais and expertos scientific that bringán the its visión múltidisciplinar of the debate in cuestión. 

THE event finalizará with the entrega of: XVIII Premio to the mellor póster and audiovisual (Patrocinado by the SEA).

In addition, this year, the event vese ampliado towards to the people more pequenas with the Project “Menudo ForoAcui”, that will take place the day 17 of November. THE Project está coordinado by the group Procesos Oceániwith the in Global Change of the Institute of Research Marine-CSIC.

Event Day lúdico-educativa that will be held the 17 of November in the Grove (Pontevedra). This Event Day coordinada by the group Procesos Oceániwith the in Global Change of the Institute of Marine Research-CSIC ofrecerá the series of activities that inclúen talks, teatro, Presentations audiovisuais and much more. THE propósito main of the Project é contribuír the incrementar the habilidades of Ocean Literacy, concienciar to the students on the importance of the marine resources, the aquaculture and the saúde of the oceans.

After this Event Day inicial, each the of the clases seleccionadas for participate in Menudo ForoAcui profundará to the longo of the curso escolar in áreas específicas of work. These liñas abarcan from the shellfishing the pé, the estudo of the mussel, the exploración of marine resources and the its relación with the climate change, until the research of the macroalgas, the valor of the foods marine, the challenges of the microplástiwith the and the problemática of the lixo marine, así the estudo of species invasoras.

To the longo of the curso, the students recibirán the visits of researcheres and expertos of institucións colaboradoras vinculadas to the sector. Through talks, Workshops and saídas of campo, the students mergullaranse in diversas temáticas relacionadas with the aquaculture and the marine resources. In addition, the groups recibirán orientación and asesoramento for levar the cabo análise and estudos on the different temas. The results destas research plasmaranse in pósteres and Presentations audiovisuais, all elaborados by the propios students.

In addition of enriquecer the training of the students, teams especializados in pedagoxía and didáctica traballarán with the teachers for improve the their habilidades relacionadas with the saúde of the oceans, the marine resources and the aquaculture.

THE colofón desta emocionante initiative will be held the 7 of June of 2024, with the realización dun congreso especial of Menudo ForoAcui. NThis event, the participants will have the oportunidade of present the their works in forma of pósteres and Presentations audiovisuais, in addition of participate in exposicións orais for share the their achados and conclusións.

Menudo ForoAcui non só promove the education and the conciencia on the mundo marine, senón that also fomenta the collaboration and the research between students and expertos, contribuíndo así to the coidado and preservación of the our oceans.
