NuTEC Project | Presentation of results

Next 27 February, the main results obtained in the NuTEC project — “New molecular and remote-control technologies for the assessment of cetacean populations” — will be presented in the Salón Nobre of the Institute of Marine Research – CSIC headquarters in Bouzas (Vigo).
The project, which started in 2020, is coordinated by IIM-CSIC with the collaboration of the Spanish Institute of Oceanography (IEO-CSIC) through its Oceanographic Centre in Vigo.
Part of the project team will be present: Graham J. Pierce (IIM-CSIC), Josep Rotllan Moragas (IIM-CSIC), Paula Suárez Bregua (IIM-CSIC/IEO-CSIC), Camilo Saavedra (IEO-CSIC) and Miguel Álvarez González (IEO-CSIC).
The whole event will be broadcast online through a room enabled for this purpose, which will be available on the day of the broadcast. Access will be provided through the button at the top of this page.
For on-site attendance, registration is strongly recommended, as capacity is limited. Non-IIM staff will not be granted access after 10 minutes from the start of the session.
The NuTEC project was funded by the Spanish Ministry for the Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge through the Biodiversity Foundation.
