On 12 June, the Institute of Marine Research (IIM-CSIC) will hold a special day of scientific activities as part of the commemoration of its 75th anniversary (1951-2026). The initiative will bring together students from several schools during the morning and will open its doors to the public in the afternoon to bring marine research closer through participatory workshops, experiments and experiences designed to discover the ocean through science.

The activity will take place between 10:00 and 20:00 at the Alameda de Eduardo Cabello, opposite IIM-CSIC, and will offer a close look at some of the research carried out at the centre to understand, conserve and sustainably use marine ecosystems and resources.
