Goods & Acquisitions Area
The Goods & Acquisitions area involves staff from both the Economic Management Area and the Institute's Warehouse. Our Warehouse consists of an office and four adjacent rooms for consumable material storage. In addition to products to be used in research, office and cleaning supplies are also stored in the warehouse, and photocopying, binding and even poster printing equipment is available.
The Warehouse is in charge of purchasing, receiving, managing and/or storing the goods acquired by the IIM staff to carry out their daily activities. Thanks to the work of this area, contracts and agreements are drawn up, applications for equipment acquisition are published and inventory material is registered in our list of assets. Any losses and modifications of assets and centralized purchases from the Spanish National General Administration supply center are also processed here.
